Krista is a Registered Dietitian with a strong science- based background and a meaningful understanding of the relationship between food, body, and mind. Her style of nutrition counseling focuses on implementing advanced preventive nutrition practices with a motivational interviewing style to promote long- term individual and community health.

She has experience working with multiple dietary lifestyles, including, but not limited to, vegetarian and vegan, and has practiced in clinical, community, and weight loss- focused settings. She also currently works with the Buffalo Centre for the Treatment of Eating Disorders, where she takes a compassionate and motivational approach to help create healthy, peaceful relationships with food to further nourish body and mind. Krista's other past experience includes involvement in nutrition- related research with the University at Buffalo, helping to support healthy nutrition during gestation and adolescence. She has also been a part of a team working to create family centered wellness programs here in Buffalo, NY.

When asked why she became a dietitian, she states, “As a dietitian, I get to do what I love most- help people live the healthy lives they deserve through the power of food.” For this reason, she is happy to be a part of a wonderful team at WNY Nutrition, providing individual nutrition counseling and presenting nutrition seminars within the community.
